OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM
Mother Theresa once said: “It’s not about how much you do, but how much love you put into what you do that counts”.
Since I was a little girl I wanted to work in healthcare, and I was naturally pulled towards helping people. My love for caregiving truly began when my maternal grandmother reached an age where she required support. Unfortunately, due to immigrating to Canada, I was unable to be a part of her final years in South Africa, as she was consumed by the terribly ailing disease, Alzheimers. However, my mother put on the shoes of a full-time caregiver, and I admire her so much for the difference she made in my grandmother’s life.
We Love To Care is inspired by the passion and dedication of family caregivers, such as my mother, and knowing the importance of providing thoughtful, kind and ethical care to individuals such as my grandmother.
Being a foreign trained nurse and midwife has allowed me to equip myself with the tools required to understand the holistic nature of individual needs, and my former experience in the homecare industry in Canada has offered me a deeper understanding of the industry.
We look forward to meeting you and your loved ones in your time of need, because We Love to Care.
At a tender age I learned that a selfless act of kindness is the best way to become the difference you want to see in the world. For me, mutual respect is at the heart of caring.
When you care for someone, you give something of yourself to another person on a level that restores balance to an otherwise crazy world, and at the same time creates a sense of fulfilment by being able to go to bed feeling like one made a difference in this world.
I believe that we have the opportunity and responsibility to make everyday count.
We Love To Care creates a platform for caregivers and care seekers to connect, and by doing so we play a small role in making this world a little less daunting.
